The carrier onboarding phase is the process of integrating a new carrier into the Orchestro platform. This involves a series of stages to verify the carrier’s credentials, establish communication channels, and configure the platform to interact with the carrier’s system.

Initiation
This stage involves gathering the carrier information like coverage area and sort codes. This data is essential for Orchestro AI to accurately route shipments and offer suitable services. Simultaneously, the carrier requests test credentials from Orchestro AI to set up the testing environment for integration.
Integration
This stage focuses on building the technical connection between the carrier and Orchestro AI, establishing data transfer mechanisms like webhooks, and configuring systems to interact and exchange information.
Validation
This is a collaborative phase where the carrier works closely with Orchestro AI to resolve issues, obtain production credentials, finalize pricing and contractual terms, and conduct final testing.
Activation
This is the final stage and it marks the go-live stage where the carrier begins handling live transactions through the Orchestro network, gaining access to order data, performance metrics, and analytics.
